From Paris with Love

We’ve had great fun with Anastasia and Alexandre this year, we shot their Lovestory in London and travelled to France to film their wedding. We spent a few hours in Paris the day after the wedding getting a few shots for this short story of boy meets girl… actually it’s more of a groom finds bride and then they go around Paris exploring the city sort of thing…

This was just a short film for fun in addition to the repertoire of films they got on their DVD- Love Story, civil ceremony, big wedding day. We are very flexible and always happy to try new things:)

Thank you for watching

Rosie and James’ jewish wedding at Botleys Mansion

Rosie and James are one of the most laid back couples we’ve filmed this year. We arrived in the morning when it was time for the groom and his entourage to celebrate a last drink at the pub before the moment of truth. In the meantime we were also filming a room full of women getting their hair, make-up and nails done, someone was even ironing a dress on an impromptu ironing station. We love to film these moments before the wedding where the personalities of the families and couple really shine through. We’ve seen it all: nervous brides, crying grooms, flowers fiascos. Thank  god Rosie and Jame’s wedding went according to plan and precisely to the second.

Thank you for having us!

Anastasia and Jack’s Fabulous Greek wedding

There are certain weddings that we enjoy more than others, this one falls under the first category and it is definitely one of the most fun weddings we’ve had this year.

The day started with the bridal preps followed by the inmidate family who sang traditional Greek music and who enjoyed the the dishes which the mother of the bride and some of the family had stayed up late preparing.

The rest of the day was great, we particularly enjoyed the photoshoot alongside photographer and friend Kristian Leven around St. Paul’s Cathedral and the evening entertainment and service at the Brewery.

The 1st dance was followed by many traditional Greek dances, you can see the money dance on the film which we find always amazing.

Thank you Anastasia and Jack for having us; it was great being part of your day.

Cinematic trailer for Tina and Malli

Tina contacted us earlier this year to film her wedding, we promptly said yes, as we fell in love with Tina and the wedding venue, The London Royal Exchange. This building is a grade I-listed building in the city of London, founded in 1565 it has served many purposes, today, a shopping mall with a handful of high-end designer shops and boutiques.

Although the venue is fantastic it goes without saying that a lot of work was put into making it look the way it looked for the day. The team of Beyond Certainty decorated and lit the whole building wonderfully, their attention to detail was impressive and we thoroughly recommend their services. Our favourite feature of the evening was the bar in the centre, which was decorated with hundreds of lemons, truly magnificent.

Tina and Malli put a lot of effort in this wedding, from the venue choice to the amazing cake, everything was planned minutely. Tina’s dress stood out during the day and she is worthy of a medal for wearing an 11kg evening dress in which she performed her 1st dance

I need to mention the work put by Jeannine de Sousa from Illyria Events, who contributed greatly in making this happen. It takes a very efficient person to organize an event of this calibre and Jeannine is definitely one of them.

For the evening and ceremony we had 4 cameras. During the time at The London Royal Exchange we used a 14ft crane from the balcony, which got us some fantastic shots of the audience and we feel it helped raise the production value of the film.

(We have access to different cranes upon request as well as other gliding equipment to get the look you want in your film)

We went for a more cinematic approach for this highlights clip and we sincerely hope you will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Daisy and Timo

One of the most fun weddings we’ve shot this year. We didn’t know what to expect when Timo called us last year and told us he had hired a church where they let him do whatever he wanted. This translated to: having a full on rock band with a complete sound set up around the church, screens with Timo’s own graphics and photo compositions, and a smoke machine which filled the room with smoke the night before to create an incredible cinematic atmosphere.

After the ceremony we headed to Eastbourne Pier, where the bride got quite a few compliments as they played the arcade games.

We hope you enjoy this highlights short film and thank you for watching
